Lone Mountain Ranch: Big Sky, Montana. By using state-of-the-art equipment and very skilled grooming staff, Lone Mountain Ranch professionally grooms a scenic and diverse 85 km trail system for both classic and skate skiing. Many of their instructors are PSIA-certified (Professional Ski Instructors of America) and have been at the ranch many years.


For guests who want to explore, they offer tours through some of the most pristine terrain in the nation. They offer a choice of naturalist-guided Yellowstone National Park ski and snowshoe tours, and telemark cross-country ski tours into the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park and surrounding wilderness as well as guided snowcoach and ski trips into the interior of Yellowstone National Park.

The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport,
a scenic, 45-mile drive from Big Sky, has more direct flights than any other small
ski town in the West. All of which means you can leave your busy life behind and
enjoy the largest skiing in the US in a matter of a few hours.

United, and US Airways.
